This 3-star hotel is set in a unique location in the Stettiner Haff, right in the historic and listed market square of Ueckermünde. The Hotel am Markt und Brauhaus Stadtkrug is an ideal base for exploring the heritage attractions of this pretty town in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The hotel is very close to the town harbour, from where you can take a boat trip. A 30-minute stroll takes you to the Haffbad, a lagoon bathing area. This also offers a wonderful view of the island of Usedom. A particular attraction here is the traditional Ueckermünde-style brewery bar, called the Stadtkrug. Savour the rustic atmosphere and enjoy the beer brewed specially at the hotel. The beer comes in dark, light and wheat varieties, and is produced in a traditional method. Guests are welcome to park their cars for free here at the hotel.

Guests staying for at least 2 nights between the beginning of May and the end of September are subject to pay a visitor’s tax. Business guests only have to pay this visitor’s tax for stays of 3 nights and more.

Travel information

The hotel is situated directly on Ueckermünde's harbour. Arrival by car: Take the A20 motorway and exit at Pasewalk Süd/Nord. Then take the B109 until you reach the turnoff to Ueckermünde. Once in Ueckermünde follow the signposts to the harbour. This can be reached via the bypass from Ueckermünde.

Area information

The hotel is located directly on the harbour of Ueckermünde. The town centre is just a short stroll away and offers a wealth of attractions such as the palace and the beautiful Marienkirche ("Church of Our Lady"). The Bay of Stettin is all that separates Ueckermünde from the island of Usedom and Poland, both of which offer ideal day trip destinations.

In our restaurant "Roter Butt" our kitchen chef and landlord Martin Wünscher treats you to light, fresh cuisine. Fine regional products form the basis of our meals, such as freshly caught fish and local game. International specialities are also available.

The living area of our "Captain's Room" has a nautical theme, while its bathroom is fitted with a large bath. For families travelling with children we offer rooms with a connecting door.
