The hotel’s restaurant has been opened since 1936 and offers locally caught fish and fresh seafood. The dishes are inspired from traditional Greek cuisine but there are also available dishes with international influences on the menu.You can always complement your meal with a selection of locally produced wines.

Area information

Agistri is located in the heart of the Saronic Gulf. It can be reached from Piraeus by the Flying Dolphin (hydrofoil ship) in one hour or by the ferry boat in about 1 hour 30 minutes. Agistri is well known for its safe clean beaches and is ideal for swimming, snorkelling and other water sports. The whole island is naturally pine forested, so it is a must for walkers and trekkers.

The double, twin and family rooms have balconies that overlook the sea to the neighbouring island of Aegina or the hotel gardens. The rooms have showers and separate kitchens. The Sea and Mountain View Double Superior rooms contain either their own private Jacuzzi or bath, with overhead showers. Guests can choose from a view of the sea or Agistris famous pine covered hills. The Maisonettes are beautifully appointed, with sea or mountain views. They have a spacious bedroom with en-suite Jacuzzi and a shower room. The sitting room, alongside its comforting and romantic fireplace, has a dining area adjacent to the kitchen. You will also find a second shower room on the lower floor. Please note that smoking is only allowed on the balcony.

Apart from the Continental Breakfast that is included in the price of the room, there are also other breakfasts available from the hotel's menu. The family-run taverna and bar surrounds the fresh seawater pool. Enjoy drinks and cocktails amongst the romantic surroundings, or treat yourself to a meal from the extensive Greek and European menu. Live music entertainment and barbecues are held on a weekly basis, throughout the summer months.

Travel information

From the port of Piraeus to Agistri: All boats for Agistri leave from Gate 8 and 9 at the port of Piraeus. From Athens International airport to Piraeus: You will find taxis outside the airport’s Arrivals doors. By train: Across from the airport’s Arrivals doors, there is a metro service (blue line) which will take you into the centre of Athens. Once there, change to the green line straight to Piraeus. At Piraeus, cross the road into the port and follow the signs for Gate 8. By bus: The bus leaves from outside the airport’s Arrivals doors. From the bus stop, it is a 1-minute walk to Gate 8.

Travel information

Getting to Agistri island from Athens is very easy, whether you are getting there straight from Athens airport or getting there after a layover in Athens. Athens airport to the port of Piraeus is just around an hours drive or just over an hour by Metro or the direct airport express bus from Athens airport to Piraeus port of Athens. There are regular boat services that link Piraeus with Agistri island. The journey time on the catamaran is about 55 minutes.
